An Update on GDPR

Summary

With the General Data Protection Regulation coming into force on May 25th 2018, we are taking necessary steps to ensure your data is safe with us, and that we are complying to all of the latest regulations, including the updated Data Protection Act (DPA 2018). This includes: refreshing automated marketing email permissions, updating privacy policies to share what data we hold on you and why, reviewing internal company policies, and appointing a data protection officer (DPO) to handle data amendment or deletion requests.

New Mailing List

Previously we have gained consent from our customers to send them marketing material which had been documented on paper records such as exhibition enquiry sheets, or via email. Whilst this may have been satisfactory for the existing DPA (up until 2018), we no longer hold these records and with stricter consent laws within the GDPR we decided to re-request your consent to continue to send you marketing information. Any persons on our current mailing list will be automatically unsubscribed on May 25th 2018, so if you wish to sign up to our new mailing list to keep up to date with latest offers, important company announcements, upcoming trade shows, new products and services, and to receive our quarterly newsletter, please click here. Our system uses double opt-in consent so if you do subscribe please ensure to verify your email address, otherwise your subscription will not be completed.

Updated Website Privacy Policy

We want to be as transparent as possible regarding data collection and processing through our website, so we have created a Privacy Policy which outlines clear information to our website users. The use of Cookies is also combined within this document to explain how we perform website analysis, what data we process, and what data we do not process. You may change your cookies settings within your chosen browser at any time, however this may restrict access or limit the use of our site. We may update the privacy policy at any time following any changes in data collection or processing, so we recommend checking this document periodically.
