CBD - Case Studies - Celtic Wind Crops

Celtic Wind Crops is an Irish-Owned company that was set up in 2012 to capitalise on the growing demand for ancient crops and grains and create a sustainable future for people and the planet with hemp. The CBD market is currently one of the fastest growing wellbeing product categories in the UK, currently worth almost £1Billion per annum by 2025, which is equivalent in size to the current entire UK herbal supplement market.

Being one of our most recent customers of 2019, Celtic Wind Crops purchased a P120 Mini-wrap from Premier Labellers to label all of their glass bottle and plastic tubs at their facility in Ireland. While this machine was the perfect label applicator for the product tub containers, we advised that it would not be the most efficient model to get the most out of their glass bottle labelling process. Needing the machine at a short lead time and a fast delivery, the P120 Mini-wrap completed the job to a satisfactory standard. After use of one of our machines for a short amount of time, Celtic Wind Crops decided to purchase a second labelling machine – The P120 Three roller wrap that was dedicated to the glass CBD oil bottle labelling, which showed significant improvements on accuracy to finalise the perfect product.

Having a small container for their products, accuracy was a key factor in finding the perfect labelling solution and labelling the plastic CBD capsule containers. Premier Labellers thrives in designing bespoke solutions for all industries and considering their product specification needs when delivering the final product.

"Here at Celtic Wind we are more than happy to work with Premier Labellers as our label machine supplier. We had initially met Josh White at the PPMA Show in Birmingham and from then on Premier Labellers have delivered on everything they promised, so we could produce quality products in an efficient time saving manor, whilst achieving major cost reductions.

The timeliness of all Premier Labellers operations from original quotes, to building the equipment, to shipping, right down to the site set-up and training of our staff was very professional, and a pleasure to work with. We will use Premier Labellers for all our future labelling needs."
